Sanitary plumbing, gasfitting, and drainlaying are regulated industries in New Zealand, and it’s illegal for anyone to do this work, unless they are authorized by the Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers Board to do so.

Guarantee, you gain the protection and peace of mind that only a Master Plumber can offer. The Guarantee protects you from substandard workmanship by a registered member.

Members of the Master Plumbers Association are required to carry $5m of public liability insurance. This protects you from any direct or indirect damage that may be caused by substandard workmanship. You are placing yourself at risk if you hire any plumber that does not have this.
